Aldhair Martinez / Solutions Engineer
Solutions Engineer at the intersection of technical depth and business outcomes — across observability, cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, developer tooling, and AI.
I spend most of my time on problems where the answer isn't immediately obvious — where an architecture, a failure mode, or a cost curve has to be worked out rather than looked up. That's the part of this job I like most, and it's what this site is slowly becoming a record of.
What I work across
Technical sales cycles that span discovery, architecture, custom demos, sizing, and validation.
Observability
Metrics, logs, traces, and profiles — instrumenting systems so the failure mode is visible before the incident review.
Cloud Infrastructure
AWS and Azure environments spanning Kubernetes, serverless, and traditional VMs.
DevOps / SRE
Incident response, sizing, reliability engineering, and the operational habits that keep systems boring.
Developer Tooling
Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and the collector and pipeline plumbing that gets telemetry where it needs to go.
AI
Applying AI-assisted development to solution engineering — faster environments, same emphasis on architecture and story.
Selected work
A public, gradually-expanding technical portfolio — see the full list on the Projects page.
This Website
liveA static Next.js portfolio evolving, piece by piece, into an observed distributed application.
Cloud-Native Observability Lab
plannedA production-inspired demo environment for end-to-end observability and troubleshooting practice.
AI-Assisted Solution Engineering
plannedExploring how AI-assisted development can accelerate the design, instrumentation, and troubleshooting of realistic technical environments.
